The Boy Who Offered His Bread & Fish to be Used by Jesus

I heard a really interesting sermon the other day about the little boy who offered Jesus his tiny bit of bread and fish. The speaker talked about how the boy offered everything he had to Jesus, even though it certainly didn't seem like it would make any difference. It would have been so easy for that kid to have thought "Eh, this little bit won't make even the slightest difference so I'm not even going to bother." But instead he must have believed that the Lord could use and multiply what little he had.

The four points of the sermon were

1.) He came prepared

2.) He was willing to share 

3.) He was undaunted by the enormity of the need

4.) He must have believed Jesus could use what he had

The speaker applied it to our own lives a college students, saying we should always be prepared to do our best at everything, even if it seems that our efforts are insignificant. He talked about how we should put our might into everything we do for the Lord, even if the task is obviously too big for us to handle. We should be undaunted by the enormity of the task and believe that the Lord will increase even our weakest of efforts.
